Methodist Church Plans Quarterly Conference and Sermons
The Second Quarterly Conference will be held Saturday at 8 30 p m with Rev Inwood presiding in Superintendent Gillis absence. A sermon series on the Christ prior to the crucifixion begins Sunday with "Jesus in the Garden of Gethsemane" for the evening service. All are invited to attend morning Sacrament of the Lord's Supper and evening service.

Sioux Center hosts Republican county convention delegates
Sioux County delegates gathered at Sioux Center last Saturday for the Republican convention. The Lions Center Orchestra entertained before meetings began, with G Klay named chairman and C Stone secretary. Delegates reported to Cedar Rapids on April 21 with resolutions supporting A B Cummins for president and Theodore Roosevelt as preferred nominee.

Arrangements with the Iowa Homestead offer the agricultural paper direct for 50 cents a year or 175 with the Hutt. Index subscription available at this office.
