Eleven-year-old Lee Krolopp is recovering at Pittsburgh Children's Hospital after a March 29 heart transplant. A hospital spokesman said he is up and about in street clothes and resuming a normal routine while biopsies determine anti-rejection drug needs and check heart function. A prior biopsy showed mild rejection. Lee is the son of Margaret Shales. Discharge plans remain undecided.

Township to Realize Savings on Insurance
Hubbard Township will save on employee health coverage after trustees accepted a bid of 5,130 from Mattinat and Associates of Boardman. The township lowers costs from 9,058 projected to 5,130 by moving from Blue Cross Blue Shield to Community Mutual while maintaining benefits, with enhancements and no reduction in coverage per union contract.
