Hubbard JayCees to survey Hubbard residents on city needs
The Hubbard JayCees with Boy Scouts and Hi Y Club plan a public opinion survey on Saturday March 15. About 100 volunteers will distribute questionnaires citywide from 9 am, then return forms for anonymous responses. Results will be machine tabulated and announced in about a week.

Three Hubbard Cadette Scouts to Receive Marian Award
Three Cadette Girl Scouts from St Patrick Church in Hubbard will receive the Marian Medal at a 1 p.m. Sunday service at Youngstown’s St Columba Cathedral. Winners are Madeline Mortaro Susan Hales and Mary Pat Murphy. Leaders from Troops 669 660 and 665 guided them through 40 projects 18 requirements a two hour exam and an art project. They also completed a two mile Rosary pilgrimage and Bible readings as part of the honor. A Mass and breakfast were held at the church last Saturday with Msgr John R Toole presiding attended by about 160 scouts and council officers.
