Post Office Cuts Hours Under District Order

In Hubbard the Buckeye Postal District ordered adjusted daily hours for the Hubbard Post Office. Window service runs 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. daily and 8:30 a.m. to noon on Saturdays. Mail after 4:30 p.m. is dispatched the next day. Postmaster Joseph J. Bunn can answer questions.

Magee seeks Congress seat in Eleventh District

Hubbard Council OKs 65 600 Improvement Bonds

Hubbard City Council passed an emergency ordinance authorizing 65,600 in bonds for West Park Avenue improvements including curbing sewers and water lines to be paid by property owner assessments. Bonds issued in 1,000 increments with specific maturities through 1988.

Shot Clinic Schedule In Hubbard For 1978

Trumbull County Health Department held the first clinic of 1978 at Roosevelt Elementary School. Immunizations for Measles Polio DTaP tetanus applied to children ages one to eighteen. Upcoming clinics are March 13 April 11 and May 9 from 10 to 11 30 a m with no charge.

Police investigate thefts in West Liberty Street and Laurel Park area

Police report multiple thefts this week. A battery worth 40 dollars was taken from a car parked in a carport on West Liberty Street at 2:40 PM February 23, with footprints leading to Laurel Park. A white bed cap was stolen from a pickup at Sherwin-Williams in Edenberry, Pennsylvania on February 21.
