Rains Hit Doris Drive Area and Local Activities Noted

The Doris Drive area suffered the hardest hit from recent rains, causing some basement flooding but no serious damage. A double exposure ruined two photos while the third fogged, leaving no pictures. Community events include Girls Softball League tryouts at Jones St field on Friday June 16 for ages 10 to 15, and the Conservation Club Fishing Derby at Harding Park with nearly 400 youths despite rain and mud. The “Let’s Explore Ohio” map omits Hubbard, prompting requests to Standard Oil station operators to address the oversight.
