Hubbard Rotary Club and Band citrus fruit sale continues this month with oranges and grapefruit. The eighth annual sale runs until Saturday January 22 with delivery that day. Orders available via Rotarians at 568-7127. Prices 8 dollars for a small 20 pound box and 14 dollars for a large 40 pound box. Proceeds fund the Rotary Senior Citizens Van replacement program and band booster projects.

Choppa named chairman of township trustee board
Hubbard Township officials elected Jack Choppa as chairman of the township trustee board with Raymond Kulow as vice chairman. Choppa, an eight year member and former vice president of the Trumbull County Township Trustee Board, begins his sixth term as board president.
