TB X-ray bus to visit Hubbard and Liberty Plaza
The TB Health Society announces the TB X-ray bus will be in Hubbard at City Hall Friday January 19 from 4 to 9 p.m. X rays are free for those over 18. The van will also be at Liberty Plaza on January 9 from 4 to 9 p.m. The Tuberculosis Society, with the Board of Health, will X-ray barbers, beauticians, food handlers per law, plus the school TE detection program this month.

At the first regular meeting of the year on January 6 the Hubbard Township trustees re elected Raymond Kulow as chairman and Henry Rose as vice chairman. They set temporary appropriations with 10000 in general fund and 15000 in road and bridges fund. Road supervisor John Handresa salary raised to 65 per month and Frank McClain to 15 more. Road crew wages raised with 12 sick days, ten holidays and two weeks vacation after five years. El Moga and William Ryser named to boards for five years. Mrs Robe Swartz and her husband were awakened as three armed men entered their Hubbard Township home. They bound and ransacked rooms, taking $60, two shotguns, and a bolt action rifle. The intruders waited about 30 minutes before fleeing with an awaiting car. Local deputies are investigating.
