The Hubbard High School Hub was honored for an editorial on the American Credo appearing in the Dec 1 1967 issue. Joyce Vukovich class of 1968 wrote the winning piece. adviser is Mrs. Erin Alexander. Vukovich attends Youngstown State University and held multiple student roles. The Freedoms Foundation at Valley Forge credits national recognition for patriotism.

City Council Studies Curfew Bill in Special Session
In a special session Monday night the city council sent the curfew ordinance back to committee for further study on minor hours and guardian duties. Several ordinances passed to second reading, including prohibitions on riot, discharging firearms, interfering with females, torture or unlawful punishment, and arson. Regular meeting set for Monday, March 3 at 7 30 p.m. in council chambers.
