Registration Set For Adult Driving Course
The final adult drivers training registration and payment of fee will be held Monday, March 6, at 8 pm at Hubbard High School in the cafeteria. The course costs 20 dollars and class size is limited. It covers 6 hours behind the wheel, 18 hours in car, and 5 classroom sessions. Pre-registration is at KE 48217 from morning to 4 pm. Early registrants get first consideration for class placement and meeting times with the instructor after school and on Saturdays.

Fire damages Campion garage in February blaze
An undetermined origin fire caused about $1000 damage to an attached garage at George Campion, 73 Parish Ave. on Feb 15. Firemen arrived at 9:45 p.m. and fought the stubborn blaze for nearly two hours, removing the car with minor damage. insurance covered the loss.
