Hubbard PTA Dinner Marks 27th Birthday Celebration
Hubbard PTA celebrated its 27th birthday with a Founders' Day dinner in the Hubbard High School cafeteria. About 70 parents teachers and guests attended with Mrs Sherman Doe of Cleveland Heights speaking on Our PTA Heritage. Included were remarks by Mrs Werner Verch and council president Mrs James Hanrahan, plus school leaders and past presidents. The Rev Harry A Hull offered the invocation and birthday cakes were awarded as prizes. Musical entertainment featured the sophomore girls chorale group directed by Robert Fitzer with Denise Evans at the piano.

Snyder Helps In Vietnam New Year Celebration
Lithographer Second Class Raymond Snyder, son of Mr and Mrs Peter Snyder of 112 E Park, aided in building booths for a three day carnival in DaNang Vietnam part of the Vietnamese New Year celebration.
