The Roosevelt School Parents Association raised 16000 items generating 6500 dollars. Proceeds funded window shades on the east side, four VCRs, four color TVs and stands for each floor, and a Trumbull County Video Co-Op membership for educational tapes. Blank VCR tapes were bought for taping. Additional donations supported a snow blower and playground materials.

Trustees approved a new three year police and dispatch pact retroactive to January 1 with annual raises of five four and three percent and an initial 41 cent hourly increase from 8.28. The agreement adds an 80 percent drug prescription card and includes a wage reopener. Final signatures await formal approval while road crew bargaining continues. Warren Ohio April 19 to 26 marks Clean Up Ohio Week announced by the Trumbull County Office of Litter Prevention.
