Hubbard girl named Miss Teen Heart after successful surgery
Meg Cox a Hubbard high school student aged 16 has been crowned Miss Teen Heart after open heart surgery corrected a faulty aortic valve. The patient daughter of Mr and Mrs Russell Cox underwent surgery July 29 and recovered fully within two weeks. She remains active in school clubs and plans modeling while aiding the Heart Association drive to raise funds for heart research and education across Mahoning Trumbull and Columbiana counties.
