Pancake Day set for Sunday Feb 16 from 9 am to 5 pm in the high school cafeteria. Hubbard AFS student Ben Rinaldi of Brazil with local students painted posters to promote the event. Proceeds support bringing more AFSers to Hubbard in future years. Tickets $1.25 for adults 75 cents for children under 13.

Brookfield Township volunteers raised 1576 dollars in the 1968 Heart Campaign, the highest Brookfield total and a 600 percent increase in Trumbull County. Fire Chief John Powell and George Addicott headed the drive assisted by Knights of Columbus and co chair Nicholas Bartolin. Frank Fordley presented the Heart Association award. Powell to lead the next drive February 16 to 23 with Bartolin as co chair.

Pfc Norman Guyton Wounded in Vietnam
Pfc Norman F. Guyton a gunner on a military vehicle received fragment wounds to the left shoulder right wrist and neck from hostile action while on perimeter defense in Vietnam January 20. He was treated and returned to duty. Guyton is married to Ruth Ann Walker of 178 Dollar Price Rd Austintown and is the son of Mr and Mrs Ervin Guyton of 1516 Maple Crest Austintown.
