Hubbard Board Approves Windows for Two Schools
The Hubbard Board of Education approved a $104,064 purchase of more than 600 windows for Chestnut Ridge Kindergarten Center and Roosevelt Elementary School from Architectural Products Sales Co. Replacing part of the old space with insulated panels will cut heat loss. installation bids will be sought as windows arrive mid March. President Alfred M. Deane cited site visits to other districts approving the product. The board accepted resignations from Mary Ann Caputello and Betty Meeds, and granted maternity leave to Judith Barger for the second half of this year and 1977-78.

Overnight Parking Ban Emphasized by Hubbard Police Chief
Hubbard residents are warned not to park on city streets overnight under a city ordinance. Vehicles parked overnight face tickets and towing after 24 hours. A public hearing on a township street lighting district is set for February 15 at 8 p.m. in the Hubbard Township Building. The lighting district covers Roseview Dr Route 304 north, Routes 7 and 62 south, and Lewis Seifert Rd including Watson St west. A Township Trustees meeting follows at 7 p.m. The Hubbard Conservation Club Auxiliary will meet February 21 at 8 p.m. in the Metropolitan Bank Building. Janet Larocca resigned as vice president at the January 17 meeting. Marge DelBane was elected to complete the term.
