Ellwood Eng Castings to start operations January
Ellwood Group Inc will acquire facilities from the former Valley Vulcan Mold Co and form Ellwood Engineered Castings Company EEC Hubbard Pa to produce gray and ductile iron ingot molds and heavy section engineered castings from 1000 to 200000 pounds for industries including heavy equipment, machine tools, valves, papermaking, pumps, plastics machinery. Dr Donald J Hurtuk EEC president says first ingot molds pour planned in January with orders for February delivery and production of engineered castings to start soon after. The firm will employ about 60 and may hire more by year end 1992.

Pavilion Reservations At Hubbard Township Park
Beginning at noon on Monday January 13 reservations for park pavilions will be taken by telephone through the Hubbard Township Park Commission at 534-3098. Prices remain $20 per day for pavilions 1 and 2 and $25 per day for pavilion 3 and the Scout Cabin. Reservations are first call and subject to cancellation if payment is not made within 10 days. No refunds after payment.
