Rotary Gives Christmas Parties For Children And Old People
The Rotary Club of Hubbard plans about 1000 in gifts and a Yule dinner for handicapped children and elderly residents at the Trumbull County Home for the Aged in Warren. Rotarians will deliver gifts to over 100 seniors on Christmas Eve, with Austin Orr directing the projects. About 65 children attended last year and more were expected this year.

William Stoneburner as Santa Claus greeted more than 800 children in the first 26 hours at Hubbard Square Plaza. The Hubbard Area Chamber of Commerce organized the event with a Kiwanis Club built house by George Stiver and decorations by Hubbard Grange and Kiwanis. Santa remains for three days with 2 to 4 pm and 6 to 8 pm slots today Friday and 2 to 4 pm Saturday.
