Emblem Club Honors Past Presidents At Elks Gala
The Emblem Club of Warren Elks Lodge 295 hosted its annual Past Presidents Ball at the Elks Club on Youngstown Warren Road. A cocktail hour preceded dancing to The Ohioans as members and past presidents gathered amid Christmas decorations.

Michael J. Casale M D current president of the St Joseph Overside Hospital Medical Staff has been re elected to the post for 1983 A OB GYN specialist Casale has served at St Joseph Hospital since 1965 He is a graduate of Ohio State University Medical School and did his internship and residency at St Elizabeth Hospital Medical Center in Youngstown A Warren native and resident he was vice president in 1981 and chaired the OB GYN Department 1969 1980 Neurosurgeon William S Owen M D was elected the 1983 staff vice president Dr Owen got his degree from Emory University and did internships and residencies at Grady Memorial Hospital and Grady Grady Montreal and New York Hospital He has practiced at St Joseph since 1969 The newly elected secretary treasurer is radiologist Edward C Walker M D who joined St Joseph in 1980 He is a graduate of the Medical College of Toledo and did internship and residency at Akron General Medical Center Elected department heads include J R Phillips M D chair Anesthesiology J H Patel M D chair Family Practice T E Wilson M D chair Medicine E H Lo M D chair OB GYN H C Adelman M D chair Pathology E T Angnardo M D chair Pediatrics J F McGreevey M D chair Radiology C M Venetta M D chair Surgery and A T Cabi M D chief Surgical Specialties George P Mancuso executive director praised the leadership of the medical staff noting their dedication and impact on patient care and hospital improvements
