Longview Texas February 17 Charles Munden son of J J Munden died by self inflicted wound about six o clock this evening shooting himself through the head with a pistol cause unknown remains only known to him.

Emperor William of Germany telegraphed condolences to Madame Faure and ordered a wreath be placed on the president's coffin. A German envoy was to attend the funeral with a special mine? to represent him. The death was attributed to brain congestion and hemorrhage after embalming.
The cotton tariff remains as promulgated prior to legal actions by railroads, while compressed rates have been restored. The decision preserves the original tariff framework against subsequent suits.
