Hinton Health is good and several locals attended church at Patmos last week with members of the Church of Christ. Tammie Gibson, Lillie and Ora Smyth visited nearby. Olin Miller of Falcon is visiting this week. Mere Camp spent Saturday with Hamp Huett of Patmos. Allan Smyth of Bodjean called on his parents, John T. Smith, Sunday. Iné Rogers and Matie Barr of Hope visited home folks and attended church in Patmos. Mildred Chastine returned home near Stamps after weeks with her parents. Picking cotton is the day’s order. Tom Drake of Hope visited Monday. Grady Rogers and family attended the Patmos meeting last week. Tommy Gibson was in Patmos.
Saturday and Sunday social visits appear as A Amith and son Elmes and Mildred called on Mr and Mrs John T Smyth. Terrel Rider is hoped to regain strength after a recent illness. Singing at the local place each Sunday night at 7 45 drew attendees. Sam Andrews attended the sh rightly spelled shrdivet. Mr and Mrs Reddick were business visitors in Hope. A Yarbrough and daughter Estelle of Washington visited on Sunday. Sem Aylett was in Hope on business. TH W Hall of Evening Shade visited Tuesday afternoon.
Guernsey Baptist church regular services were led by Rev Price from Badesw and Rev Clark was invited as pastor candidate. Mr and Mrs L E Aslin and others were Sunday dinner guests of Mr and Mrs Tom Logan. Chesley Walker of Hope visited relatives Sunday and the young folks attended a party given by the Miss Brosin’s.
