London Britain plans a January 1 opening of an air service from London to Cape Town. Through passengers will fly in five plane types ranging from the 42 seat Hannibal biplane to flying boats on the journey.

Mrs Lin Notwood and Marylyn visiting sister in Arp.
In Texarkana Maxine Taylor four year old daughter of Mr and Mrs Alfred Taylor of Nashville was brought to Michael Meagher hospital here Sunday night for treatment of injuries received in an automobile accident. The ambulance squad answered the call and transported the child to the hospital.
A vintage advertisement touts Cardul for women with weakened conditions and run-down health. It features a testimonial from Mrs. D. L. Beckner of Elliston Virginia who says Cardul restored her strength after months of illness and back and side pains. The copy notes Cardul has been used for over fifty years and is sold at all good drug stores.
An evening crash three miles east of Nashville left Mrs Pearl Tabor with gashes and a broken shoulder for Mrs Layton after a car veered into a ditch during a visit with friends. The other occupants, including a five year old and Howard Smith, escaped unharmed.
