Largest U S counterfeit money seizure in history
Secret Service agents seized more than 8 million dollars in counterfeit 100 dollar bills in Los Angeles in the largest such seizure in U S history. Hartford AP reports Rep. Robert H. Steele says the Ford administration will unveil an oil price equalization program on Tuesday. Treasury Secretary William E. Simon told him the plan will begin December 1 and allow importers to buy price controlled domestic oil at 5.25 dollars per barrel, with tickets sold to refiners. Middle South Utilities moves HQ to New Orleans
Middle South Utilities will relocate its corporate headquarters from New York City to New Orleans by year’s start.
