AP reports 16 violent deaths in Arkansas since Sunday midnight after three accidents yesterday. A Hope mother and daughter, Mrs Herbert Lowell Phillips 45 and Virginia 19, died when their car blew a tire and overturned near Hope. James Ray Miller 20, drowned in the Arkansas River near Pine Bluff while painting the Highway 79 bridge.
