Eureka Springs Trip Report From Hope Editors
The Hope editor and L. Carter Johnson visited Eureka Springs for a three day trip from October 22, traveling via Hot Springs Russellville Harrison and 40 miles west to Eureka. They found two routes to Eureka with similar mileage and scenery and noted 2000 foot elevations on both. They arrived at 3 20 p m Thursday to a crowded town due to the Ozark Folk Festival parade. Publicity from Little Rock papers was limited, and color photography failed for the issue, yielding only black and white prints.
