Six Persons Killed on Highways In Arkansas Weekend
Six people died on Arkansas highways this weekend with four fatalities on Sunday. John Lott of Texarkana, 48, died in a two vehicle crash on U S 67 near Texarkana when a stalled tractor-trailer was struck by his pickup. Clifford Higgenbotham, 30, and his wife Kaline of Hot Springs perished when their truck collided head on with another on Arkansas 51 east of Malvern. Wallace Almond, 47, of Malvern, was uninjured in the second truck crash. Other victims included Johnny Huckaby, 17, of Van Buren in a single vehicle crash near Natural Dam, Crawford County, Jack Butler, 59, near Humphrey in a three car crash on Arkansas 130 near North Little Rock, and Adam Harrison, 76, of Athens, Texas, who died after injuries from a Friday crash.
