An appeal by Henderson State Teachers College seeks to overturn the Arkansas Interscholastic Athletic Conference Eligibility Committee ruling that Meadows is ineligible to play football. A majority of eight college presidents voted to overrule, citing evidence Meadows played in multiple college and service games, including the Army and Navy hospital game at Hot Springs and games against Monticello A&M, Arkansas College at Batesville, and Mississippi A&M.

Learning Christ for a recreated life in righteousness

The lesson from Ephesians emphasizes that true Christian living begins when believers learn Christ and are renewed into the new man. It teaches self control, avoidance of evil speech, and daily disciplines that bring peace and joy despite hardship. Paul’s prison example shows this renewal is possible for all Christians, not just the extraordinary.
