Betty McRoy Funeral Service Held at Delight Methodist

Betty McRoy died Tuesday in a Prescott hospital. Funeral services were held Thursday at 2 p.m. at Delight Methodist Church with Reverend Jerry Westmoreland officiating. In Rea Puart Georgia AP report a Rockmart Junior High student recalls chaos after a school bus collided with a train near a crossing. The Fuego volcano 24 miles from Guatemala City has erupted for two weeks with lava, rock and ash. One death confirmed, a six month old boy hit by a burning rock as his mother fled Yepocapa. About 1,903 residents stay, others seek refuge in schools as crops suffer $35 million in losses. The volcano blasts rock and ash up to 20,090 feet, with ashes over six feet deep.

Lions Outline Future Community Projects At Luncheon
