Still raid targets whisky operation near Saratoga
Deputies from Hempstead and Howard counties raided a whisky still five miles SE of Saratoga in dense woods. They seized two gallons of liquor and 100 gallons of mash, fired seven shots at a fleeing man identified as Claude Nall, who escaped. the still and mash were destroyed, and the liquor held for prosecution.
