Rice farmers overplant in three Arkansas counties
The Agricultural Stabilization and Conservation Service reported that 12 percent of rice farms in Craighead County 8 percent in Prairie County and 7 percent in Chicot County overplanted this year. An ASCS official said the figures are not alarming and no real trouble was found.
