The National Weather Service sticks to a warm Thanksgiving forecast for Arkansas. Partly cloudy skies are expected with seven to 10 hours of sunshine and temperatures in the upper 60s to mid 70s. No rain is forecast.
The weather service forecasts a chance of rain Friday and Saturday as a cold front crosses Arkansas. Highs will reach the 60s Friday then fall this weekend. Overnight lows vary from 27 to 47 across the state with no rainfall reported in the 24 hours ending 7:30 a.m. today.
A 21 year old Sheridan man Donald O'Brien died when his car crossed the center line on U S 167 north of Springlake Road and struck a tractor trailer in a fatal early morning crash State Police reported. The truck driver was not harmed.
