The National Weather Service warns of rain in northwest Arkansas Saturday with little precipitation elsewhere from Sunday through Tuesday. Temperatures steady Saturday then cooler Sunday, warming Monday and Tuesday. Lows Sunday near 30s, highs around 60. Lows Monday and Tuesday near 40, highs in the 60s.
Oregon Public Employees Relations Board may certify the Oregon State Police Assn as bargaining agent for state troopers. If 30 percent sign, the board will hold an election. The union said it will not call for slowdowns or strikes.
