Prescott Elementary PTA opened with a song and remarks by Mrs. Bil Beek. The program honored American Education Week with speeches by Mrs. P. A. Hsturke and others. Elections discussed, future meeting on Hee J at 10 a.m. at the Methodist Church with a panel. Book drive noted with book sales by local workers. Guest speaker J. W. Smith, Prescott Schools superintendent, spoke on school service in the community. Room winners named, Southerlin Pine Garden Club met with Mrs. N. R. Nelson hosting. herbs discussed by Mrs. Harvey Nelson. Junior and Intermediate Choirs of Float Methodist Church held a Thursday evening supper with choir practice led by Jeff Livingston and pianist Nancy Bratton. attendees listed.
