Turtle Nursery Aids Sea Turtles At Jupiter Island
Frank Lane and University of Florida student Luni lead a turtle research effort on Jupiter Island Florida tagging 600 turtles and observing hatch rates. Jesse Mike White and Renee Williams assist as the team relocates eggs to a rookery for hatching and raiseslings in a protected pool. Hazards include raccoons heat and erosion. the goal is to publish findings on resting habitats populations and survival.
