In Memphis Tennessee Criminal Court Judge W Otis Higgs Jr rejected prosecutors bid to have McKissack called as a court witness to clarify testimony in the murder trial of eight policemen. McKissack and Calvin McKissack, who was with Elton Hayes, faced questions over statements after Hayes death. Barnes testified Hayes and McKissack were beaten after a chase. he could not identify any defendants.
