Violinist Dies During Baltimore Concert Shock
Benjamin Losner a 42 year old first violinist with the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra collapsed and died during a scherzo at the season opening concert conducted by Reginald Stewart. He reportedly died before an ambulance arrived as the audience learned nothing of the death during intermission. The orchestra continued with the program as planned.
