Snip N Take phone service announced in Arkansas
LITTLE ROCK AP A new Southwestern Bell plan lets moving Arkansas customers carry their phones to a new home to save 5 dollars on service. The program, Telephone Set Recovery Plan or Snip N Take, aims to cut set losses and nonrevenue calls, applies to one or two party moves within the same exchange, and requires snapping cords near walls for safety. A bank holdup in Coal Hill left no injuries, with about 3300 dollars taken from a Farmers National Bank branch. L T Bly reported the suspect fled around 2 pm wearing a raincoat. An armadillo brood and an octopus fact conclude the piece.
