Tom S Gray 76 died Wednesday in a local hospital. Survivors include wife Cora five sons and four daughters and many relatives. Services 2 p.m. Friday at Oakcrest Chapel with interment Memory Gardens Oakcrest Funeral Home in charge. Rush Milburn Harris 83 of Mineral Springs died Tuesday in a Nashville hospital. Services 2 p.m. Friday Latimer Funeral Home Chapel burial Mineral Springs Cemetery. Ethel Taylor 86 died early Thursday in a local hospital. She was a Garrett Memorial Baptist member. Surviving are two sons a daughter six grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Funeral Friday 4 p.m. Herndon Chapel burial Memory Gardens Herndon Funeral Home in charge.

Graham Draws Crowds for Seoul Crusade Opener
Evangelist Billy Graham attracted 516000 people in Seoul for the opening night of a five day crusade. He said it was his largest crowd in 33 years of preaching and noted his prior best was 200000 in Rio de Janeiro in the early 1960s. About 20000 answered his call for decisions for Christ after the sermon.

Two-car crash leaves one dead and six hurt near North Little Rock
One person was killed and six injured in a two-car crash at the Sherwood city limits near North Little Rock. The deceased was Doyle Howell, 13, who rode as a passenger in a car driven by Martha Howell, 15, who was among the injured. Also injured were Janice Ruple, 13, and Ronnie Ruple, 18, both of North Little Rock, who were passengers in the other vehicle.

Washington AP reports Medicare patients will pay 5 cents more monthly for Part B premiums starting July 1 raising the premium from 5.80 to 6.30. The annual deductible up 10 to 60 dollars took effect in January. The Nixon plan to add 700 million annually faces congressional resistance.

Medicare Part A and B premiums rise two years
Legislation to apply the proposed premium increases from January 1, 1974 remains stalled in the Office of Management and Budget. Health officials say Part A hospital insurance will cover about 23.1 million people in the new fiscal year at a cost of 8.2 billion dollars, while Part B will be chosen by 22.5 million at just over 3 billion dollars. The 50-cent Part B increase is blamed on higher physician use and hospital outpatient costs, and HEW notes the raise will hold for two years unless Congress acts.

South Viets call tank attack a probe near Hue
South Vietnamese officials call Wednesday’s tank strike by North Vietnamese or Viet Cong forces a probe rather than a new offensive. A platoon of three Russian BT76 tanks attacked a government position 18 miles southwest of Hue, with artillery halting one tank and killing 15 attackers. One government soldier was wounded, while two tanks fled.
