Youth, 9, Drowns in Blytheville Floodway Incident
In Rivervale Arkansas AP report Gary Lynn Robertson nine year old boy from Blytheville drowned Sunday in a St Pranels River floodway after falling from a concrete tunnel. His eleven year old brother Jimmy also fell in but was rescued by an adult. State Police said Calvin and Mrs Robertson parents heard screams while swimming nearby. The older boy was saved by William Fleming who was on the outing with the family. The body of the nine year old was recovered about four hours after the accident.
