Bids to be opened June 21 in Dallas for modernization and extension of the Payagouki Arkansas Post Office. The project adds 11,000 square feet and is estimated to cost over 500000 dollars, the General Services Administration said Thursday.

Nat Anderson an all state guard from Jonesboro High School has accepted an appointment to the Air Force Academy in Colorado where he will play football. Rep. E C Gathings aided the appointment. The Baptist of the Class A4 Allstate team and will appear in the High Site All Star game this spring.
