The Associated Press reports overall fair weather with pockets of wetness in places. Temperatures vary from below freezing in Michigan to the low 30s in northern Minnesota and Wisconsin, with a 108 degree high in Presidio Texas and 43 in Duluth Minnesota. Winnipeg and southern Manitoba face serious floods on Red River, with 90,000 displaced and flood stages around 32 feet for over 90 hours. About a quarter-million gasoline stations exist in the United States.
