Agnew Reflects On Youth, War, and Public Image in Frost Interview

He described a typical middle class upbringing, discussed his World War II service and combat, and defended his use of galvanic phrases while noting media attention to his remarks differs from that given Fulbright. He stressed youth protests as lawful but not representative of all youth and presented a steady, self confident, tough minded persona throughout.
