Murders charge filed in Marmaduke wife case
Deputy Prosecutor Howard Mayes filed murder charges Wednesday in Greene County Circuit Court against Mrs. Joan Cudd 25 of Marmaduke for the shooting death of her husband Donald Allen Cudd 27 of Marmaduke. Cudd was killed at his home Tuesday night. In a separate item from Little Rock Arkansas 80 cities were eligible for federal airport aid as state officials reported. The department plans 1.4 million in matching funds with about 4.3 million in expenditures through 1972 to build 21 new airports.

Soviet Destroyer Scrapes U S Walker In Sea of Japan
The Walker and three other U S ships in antisubmarine training near Hokkaido were bumped and harassed by a Krupnyy class Soviet destroyer. The incident occurred at 1 33 a m EDT in international waters about 300 nautical miles west southwest of Hokkaido. No casualties and light damage were reported. The Pentagon said several warnings were ignored and the Soviet ship approached within 50 feet on two occasions.
