Otis Air Force Base reports the lone survivor of the radar picket plane crash near Nantucket Island says he is ready to fly the same type of aircraft again when able. Joseph L. Guenet, 29, of Ireland Fond, Vermont, said the aircraft is basically sound and that he believes the plane remains fit for service. The crash costs and investigations follow 50 deaths in three Otis-based crashes over 22 months as the craft is grounded for inspection.
