The Associated Press reports a pleasant weekend with Bermuda shorts in order. The National Weather Service calls for fair skies and mild temperatures Saturday. Sunday’s forecast is similar with no rain expected Saturday and little precipitation likely Sunday.
The Hope Star issue notes isolated thundershowers and warm weekend forecasts with highs in the upper 70s to low 80s and overnight lows in the 40s. It includes rainfall totals, station reports, and subscription rates for Hope and surrounding counties plus Arkansas and national advertising reps.
