The court stressed delivery and possession as essential to pass title despite Cross’s expressed intent.
A new Arkansas law eliminates grand jury indictments for felonies when defendants plead guilty or enter an information. The act, signed by Governor Futrell, takes effect June 9, reducing county costs and speeding justice by allowing immediate pleas and sentence starts.
George Emery of Texarkana formerly of Hope achieved the highest score among freshmen at Magnolia A and M college in the second semester psychology test. Federal and state laws will govern permits taxes and cross state transport as states race to enact beer regulations.
