The Hope Hempstead County Chamber of Commerce selects John Henley of Hope as acting secretary manager. A 1968 Hope High School graduate with a BSE from State College of Arkansas at Conway, Henley has been active in community affairs and volunteered at the Children’s Colony. He currently works at Standard Automotive Components as a production control scheduler and will start Monday, April 1 at the Chamber office.

All Around Town Nashville Junior Auxiliary will sponsor the first Southwest Arkansas Our Little Miss pageant at 7 p.m. March 30 in the Upper Elementary auditorium Nashville. The event features two age divisions Miss La Petite for ages 3 to 6 and Our Little Miss for ages 7 to 12.
