Lincoln Co Group Forms to Create Jobs and Nursing Home

In Little Rock a group led by Rev. Lockwood O Neal and five farmers formed the Lincoln Industrial Development Corp to tackle unemployment among 600 700 Negroes in Lincoln County. They plan a 105 bed nursing home to reduce weekly trips to Little Rock and the Health Department has approved two sites. O Neal notes most employed Negroes farm and rely on welfare while county industry is largely white staffed.
