Subcommittee sets 50 mill tax cap for Arkansas property
A property tax subcommittee proposes real property not exceed 50 mills and personal property taxed at zero. It backs a 1 percent share of property value as the burden, aiming to reach the cap long term, offset by higher other taxes.
