Ships Collide Detail Sailors Missing After Fire Rescue

Untaxed Liquor Confiscated After Police Stop In Springdale

Springdale officers, acting on a Rogers police tip, stopped a 1955 Ford sedan and found 220 quarts of untaxed liquor packed in the trunk and back seat. Two men, Charles Parratt 22 of Stilwell and Oklahoma City and Charles W. Rogers 25 of Chapel Hill NC, were questioned. Rogers said he rode along. Parratt claimed only ownership. Both declined to reveal purchase or destination.
