Prescott News Cub Scout Pack Meeting at First Methodist

Cub Scout Master O W Watkins presided over the pack meeting Thursday evening at 7 at the First Methodist Church. Cubs recited the pledge, sang birthday songs, and awards were given for Lion and Bear badges. Hope Arkansas Ordinance 753 fees court costs in criminal cases

The City Council of Hope Arkansas adopts Ordinance 753 to require the Municipal Court Clerk to assess and the Hope Police Chief to collect court costs in all criminal cases for state law violations within Hope. Funds collected go to a special municipal account and ultimately to the General Fund, with monthly deposits due by the 10th. An emergency clause asserts necessity to fund municipal government operations.
