Wreck Injuries Prove Fatal
James Moore 19 of Little Rock died from injuries after a car he rode in overturned five times on Interstate 30 south of Little Rock. Henry Greenbaum 17 was thrown clear and suffered a skull fracture and other injuries. State Police noted witnesses said the wreck occurred during a race. the other vehicle was not found.

Air searchers located the Paradise Airlines Constellation wreckage on Genoa Peak east of Lake Tahoe after it vanished in a snowy storm en route from San Jose to Nevada resorts. All 85 aboard were confirmed dead by a doctor at the remote 8,800 foot crash site. Lt. Col. Sherry said wreckage was spotted west of Genoa with a missing- and presumed-dead toll of 85.
